2022 FLOODING: Gov Douye Diri Visits More Ravaged Communities In Bayelsa State

As the federal government disaster’s minister remains in her comfy office in Abuja to cook figures in ascertaining which State is more or less impacted by the 2022 flood, Sen. Douye Diri, the governor of Bayelsa State continues to traverse the length and breadth of the state to give succor to Bayelsans whose communities have been altered by the ravaging deluge.
Yesterday, the governor visited more flood impacted communities in Southern Ijaw Local government Area of Bayelsa State. The communities visited among other communities submerged by the 2022 flood include; Korokorosei, Ologbobiri, Ekeowe, Opuama, Eniwari and Igbomotoru.
The visit was to enable the Governor note the degree at which the flood is disrupting Bayelsans in their communities, most especially their means of survival in the creeks of Bayelsa State.
The visit which affer the Governor an opportunity to feel the pains of the people directly.
