2023: Amaechi Breaks Silence On Dumping APC
Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,
A former Minister of Transportation and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, has debunked a claim of leaving the party.
Amidst circulating speculations, the Track News Nigeria learnt that the former presidential aspirant has dumped APC denied the claim.
Speaking through his media aide, Senibo Chris Finebone, during a press conference held in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, Amaechi confirmed that he remains a loyal member of the party.
Finebone added that Amaechi has vowed to work for APC to ensure the party resoundingly wins the 2023 election.
In his words: “Let me use this opportunity to raise the alarm that just yesterday, (Tuesday) evil people launched fake news concerning our leader, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, purporting that he has resigned from the APC.
“He remains a loyal member of the APC and he has re-iterated this at every opportunity and that he would work to ensure the Party resoundingly wins the 2023 elections.”
