2023: APC youth Leader congratulates Sylva, Maciver for emerging APC Guber candidates

Youth Leader All Progressives Congress Bayelsa State Hon. Preye Agama has congratulated the governorship candidate of APC Chief Timipre Sylva CON and his running mate, Joshua Maciver for their emergence as the standard bearers of the main opposition political party in the state for the November 11th gubernatorial election.

In a congratulatory message signed by him, Hon. Agama noted that it received with joy the emergence of Chief Sylva and Maciver as gubernatorial and deputy governorship
candidates of the APC.

“We see it as a restoration journey to overhaul the polity and redirect the vehicle of leadership of Bayelsa State to where Bayelsans will be proud of their own State.

While i congratulate them, i reassure Bayelsans that we will never succumb to the fiction of sentimental politics as unemployment, insecurity and poverty have no tribe and religion.

“I and my team reassure Bayelsans of our unalloyed support to the Sylva/Maciver ticket, as Maciver is and remains one of our own. We are thrilled to get the news of this political elevation and we are hopeful that this marks the beginning of good things to come not only among Bayelsans youths, but Nigerian youths as a whole.

“If leadership is the human capacity and the will to rally men and women to a common purpose and the character to inspire confidence, then Bayelsans should get ready for a better thing to come,” the statement said.

The youth Leader further appealed to Bayelsans to pray for the Sylva and Maciver for the strength to face the task ahead, which it said was enormous.

He also use the medium to call on all aggrieved members of the sheath their sword and for the success of th3 party, “let forgo about our personal interest, let work together and salvage the state from bad governance. With Sylva/Maciver there is renewed hope in our dear State.
