The Court of Appeal, Port Harcourt division has ruled in favor of Senator Degi Eremienyo. The Court of Appeal, Port Harcourt division in a ruling on Friday, November 4th 2022 in its ruling describe the submission and prayers by Sodaguo Omoni, an aspirant aspirant for the Bayelsa east Senatorial District primary of the of the APC lacking merit and be disregarded and upheld the earlier judgement by the Federal High Court, Yenagoa division.
The high Court in its ruling on September 15th 2022 had described the primary as validly conducted and also dismissed the prayer challenging senator Degi’s competence in contesting the 2023 General Elections based on Supreme Court judgment of 2019, disqualifying him for the duty Governorship seat of Bayelsa State.
