Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has warned that Nigeria must choose the right leader in 2023 for the benefit of everyone.

Fani-Kayode who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stressed that there may not be another opportunity to fix the country if the wrong set of leaders emerge in 2023.

He made his view known via submissions on his Twitter account where he urged Nigerians to vote for the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

He said: “If we get it wrong this time around, there is no fixing it anymore. It’s as simple as that.

“If we don’t get it right this time around and have the right person in power in this country, for the next few or number of generations, Nigeria will be finished.

“Nigeria will not even be a united country again in a matter of years. Why do I say this? Look at the economy, nobody is happy with it. And it’s been like this for many years, not just this dispensation.”

NNPP Candidates Hold Rally For Tinubu

Some candidates of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) have disclosed plans to organize a mega rally in support of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

In a joint statement released on Monday in Osogbo, the NNPP candidates contesting for seats in the Osun State House of Assembly said the rally is to show their support for the APC flagbearer.

The NNPP candidate for Ifelodun State Constituency, Muideen Afolabi, on behalf of eight other candidates, added that they have also commenced a door-to-door campaign for Tinubu.

Afolabi lamented that the NNPP has not been campaigning for the presidential candidate of the party, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, and other candidates contesting the poll in the state.
