2023: Gawuna Says He Has Experience Leading Kano People

By Adeleye Kunle
Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, Kano State Deputy Governor and All Progressives Congress Gubernatorial Candidate, has stated that he has the necessary experience to govern Kano State.
During an appearance over the weekend, he explained that as a two-term former local government chairman, three times former commissioner of agriculture, and now the state’s deputy governor, he has a quality advantage over other aspirants.
“Kano people are there to judge because they know which candidate has the credibility and capacity to lead them; we will win the election with their support.”
“In its effort to develop the state, our current administration has undertaken a number of visible and laudable projects and services.”
Gawuna went on to say that the divisions in other political parties work in their favor.
“The APC is intact and united.” Those joining our party are people who believe in the APC’s ideals and principles because we have chosen the best candidates. They will make significant contributions to our success and victory in the elections, but those who defected from us are doing so because they want to run in the party’s primary election, he said.”
