2023: Gov. Yahaya Bello’s Camp Speaks On Fight With Tinubu

The camp of the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has dismissed reports of disagreements and misunderstanding between the Governor and the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
The Director (Media and Publicity), Yahaya Bello Presidential Campaign Organisation, Mrs. Yemi Kolapo said contrary to the rumours flying around, there is no rift between Belo and Tinubu.

She added that the Kogi State Governor is totally committed to working for the election victory of the APC candidate during the 2023 polls.

Kolapo cautioned that a crisis should not be created where such does not exist.

“You are listening to rumours. Has the campaign even started? If there is one aspirant that is totally committed to a landslide win for the APC presidential candidate in the 2023 election, that aspirant is Governor Yahaya Bello,” Kolapo was quoted to have told Punch in an interview published on Thursday.

“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is tested and trusted. And with the great support we have right now across the country, he will be the next President.

“Don’t let us create a crisis where there is none.”

TrackNews Nigeria recalls Bello lost the APC presidential primary election to Tinubu, scoring 47 votes, while the eventual winner got 1,271 votes.

Wike Threatens To Work Against PDP

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has threatened to help the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, lose the 2023 election.

Wike’s statement is in response to recent comments by the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu who called those calling for his resignation children.

Speaking during the commissioning of the internal road in Omerelu community in Ikwerre local government area of Rivers on Thursday, Wike stated that Ayu’s comment shows he is arrogant.
