2023: “I Won’t Disappoint Tinubu or APC” – Shettima
By: Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed
Senator Kashim Shettima, a two-term former Governor of Borno State has declared that with his nomination as a running mate to Tinubu comes with a burden of trust and not to disappoint the party presidential candidate nor the other stakeholders of the party who chose him.
He declared this after he was officially unveiled by Tinubu on Wednesday to be the All Progressives Congress Vice Presidential Candidate in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
Recall our earlier report today that Tinubu and his party, APC, would be announcing to the world their mandate and choice of Shettima today in Abuja.
Track News Nigeria had earlier reported weeks ago that Tinubu selected Shettima over other aspirants who gunned for the bid.
