As the 2023 general elections approach, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has promised to put an end to the country’s insecurity crisis if elected president of Nigeria in 2023.

Kwankwaso also stated that as president, he will value every Nigerian’s life and will address the unrest in some parts of the country.

He made the remarks during a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, in Osun on Saturday.

The NNPP presidential candidate, who stated that his visit to the state was to spread his education revolution agenda across the country, also stated that his administration would do whatever it took to ensure that every child in the country has the opportunity to receive an education.

He also emphasized the importance of strengthening security measures in educational institutions in order to encourage more students to continue their education.

“To protect our schools, we need to increase the number of security personnel to secure every inch of the country,” he says. In addition, we will improve intelligence gathering. In general, safety comes first.

“We will do whatever it takes to ensure that every child in this country has the opportunity to attend school.”

“It is our responsibility to ensure the security of this country.” That is why we have decided to increase the number of military personnel from 250 to 1 million.

“We need to do two things in terms of medical tourism. One is to put our house in order by improving government-owned institutions. The second step is to encourage private sector participation. Leaders must also set a good example by seeking treatment at home.

“I believe that if you want to lead people, you owe them accountability in terms of your health.” I assure you that I am in good health and that I can show you my certificate. And my most recent medical examination gave me a 30-year health guarantee.”

In addition, as part of his confidence-building measures, Kwankwaso maintained that he has no bank accounts or business outside of Nigeria.

Kwankwaso’s visit to the Ooni of Ife follows previous visits by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), and Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) (PDP).
