2023: Muslim-Muslim Ticket Is The Best – Adamu
Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,
Hon. Abdullahi Adamu, the All Progressives Congress National Chairman, said that the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket of the ruling party is the best option for Nigerians comes 2023.
The national leader said that politicians can not convince everyone, saying that everyone had the right to support what they want.
The APC Chairman added that the APC will not sleep until it convinces Nigerians to fully back its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
He noted the same faith ticket is the best strategy that they think can work for them in the forthcoming election, accusing the media of not publicising the efforts of the government adequately but reporting the security challenges.
According to Adamu: “You see, with the situation we are in the country, you can’t convince everybody. It’s a democracy, everyone has his right but for us, the same faith ticket is the best thing for Nigeria presently.
“But we will not relent, we will work to ensure we convince Nigerians to fully support this Tinubu/Shettima ticket, every party has its strategy and this is the strategy that we think can best work for us.”
“Yes, there’s insecurity in the country and every country faces its kind of insecurity. The media don’t publicise government efforts adequately.”
