2023 Ortom: The real reason Tinubu, Atiku, and Peter Obi met in London
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has reported that he and a few of his colleagues, including Okezie Ikpeazu, the governor of Abia, and Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, met with Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in London, United Kingdom (UK),
According to Track News, the PDP governors recently spent a few days in Europe where they met with the three front-runners for president as well as Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president of Nigeria.
Ortom declared their conversations to be non-partisan shortly after their arrival.
According to the governor of Benue, “for us, we are looking at the bigger picture.”
“Nigeria is in trouble right now. What can we do? Neither a man nor a woman can solve our nation’s problems on their own. In order to ensure that we overcome the difficulties we are now facing in Nigeria, we are investigating how we can pool our resources and come together.
“There is no question that Nigeria is in trouble. from the top down. Think about what was going on in 2015 and where we are now.
Therefore, we have concerns about Nigeria, our nation. Beyond partisan politics, this is.
“We are examining ways to cooperate to guarantee Nigeria’s survival.”
