2023 presidency: Oyo PDP members ready to support Tinubu-APC campaign DG, Kolawole

Isiaka Kolawole, the Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaigns in Oyo state, has declared that PDP members in the state will vote for APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This revelation was made by Kolawole at the weekend’s inaugural meeting of the campaign committees in Ibadan.

While speaking to members of the campaign committees, Kolawole insisted that the APC would form the state’s next government.

He went on to say that he believes PDP members will vote for APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.

Kolawole went on to say that the current administration in the state is tired.

In a statement made available to Track News by the campaigns’ Director of Public Affairs, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, Kolawole said it is unfortunate that the state’s Governor, Seyi Makinde, has turned himself into a personal assistant to his colleague, Rivers State Governor, Nyeson Wike.

“The PDP in Oyo state has declared that they will vote for the APC in the presidential election,” he said.

“The state’s current administration is exhausted.”

“It’s a shame that Governor Seyi Makinde has turned himself into a personal assistant to his colleague, Rivers State Governor Nyeson Wike.”

“And, if you listen to his budget speech or go to the governor’s personal website, you’ll notice that he alluded to that fact.” We appreciate him admitting that he is tired. Senator Teslim Folarin, our candidate, is up to the task.”

While speaking, Mr. Isaac Omodewu, the state APC chairman, urged the campaign council to keep the state in the lead.
