2023: Tinubu Unveils Shettima As Running Mate Despite Attacks

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress, has officially unveiled Kashim Shettima, a past Governor of Borno State, as his running mate for the forthcoming 2023 general election.

Tinubu with other APC chieftains, including the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, officially unveiled Shettima at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja, the Track News Nigeria covers.

Recall that Track News Nigeria had earlier reported the announcement of Shettima by the APC standard bearer two weeks ago. Since then, kudos and knocks have trailed it over the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Tinubu made the declaration of Shettima as the vice-presidential candidate of the APC during his visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Kastina State.
