2023: Vote politicians with corruption-free agenda – Oluwo

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi has called on Nigerians to vote for candidates with credible and corruption-free agenda in the 2023 general elections.
Oba Akanbi, who made this call in his new year address to Nigerians, added that the need to restore Nigeria’s glory meant that the manifesto of each candidate with special interest in fighting corruption should be considered.
The address, which was made available by Alli Ibraheem, his spokesperson in Osogbo on Saturday, explained that the decay in Nigeria’s system was occasioned by corrupt leaders and urged the electorates to speak by voting credible candidates with proven track records to ensure a corrupt-free administration.
“I am so optimistic in Nigeria and Nigerians. Nigeria is blessed with rich resources enough to cater for the needs of all and sundry.
“The only bane to our desired growth is corruption and corrupt politicians. 2023 is here and will present a golden opportunity to right the wrong by voting for credible individuals without blemish to lead us to greatness. Electorates can restore sanity by asking questions and ensure candidates with corrupt-free agenda are voted for.
“Our destiny is in our hands. I urge Nigerians to speak with their votes by rejecting corrupt politicians who are likely to contribute to Nigeria’s woes
