2023: Why APC will be in trouble if Shettima is dropped – Adeola Bodunrin breaks silence

By Adeleye Kunle
As the 2023 elections approach, Adebayo Shittu, the Director-General (DG) of the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Support Group, has warned that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will be “in trouble” if it caves to “pressure” and drops Kashim Shettima as Tinubu’s running mate.
Shittu, a former Minister of Communications, told Track News that it “took the APC and Tinubu time” to decide on Shettima.
Shettima is a senator and former governor of Borno State.
“The truth is that if Shettima is dropped as a result of this internal and external pressure, the APC will be in trouble.” “What we need to take into account here is the time it took Tinubu, the Northern governors, and the party to decide on his candidacy,” Shittu said in a report published on Thursday in Track News.
Shittu went on to question why people are upset with Tinubu’s choice, urging them to vote for other presidential candidates if they are dissatisfied.
