2023: Why We Sold Forms To Every Interested President Aspirants – APC

The All Progressives Congress has revealed why it allowed every interested presidential aspirant in the party gain access to the N100 million presidential nomination and expression of interest forms of the party.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka, revealed this in an interview on Channels TV on Wednesday was asked why the party allowed groups and individuals to purchase forms for aspirants.
Morka in his response said groups were allowed to pick forms for presidential aspirants because they believe in the individual.
TrackNews had earlier reported that the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige; Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva and Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele did not submit their presidential forms.
The spokesman further stated, “If I believe very strongly in you that you’ll make a good President…you know, I’ll purchase. At the time of purchase, there are no filters.
“You come, indicate the office you want to purchase a form for, make the payment, payment is confirmed and the form is given to you.
“It’s at the point of submission that the actual verification begins, where we begin to check all of the requirements, whether you actually met those requirements or not and all of the things the guideline set out as eligibility to run.
“It is at the point of submission actually that we begin to do the checklist of those things that should be there, but otherwise, at the point of purchase, we sell the forms.”
