2023 will make, mar Nigeria – Ajimobi

Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, wife of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi has said that the 2023 general elections will make or mar Nigeria.
Mrs. Ajimobi made this disclosure on Friday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, during the 73rd posthumous birthday of the former governor.
The event took place at the University of Ibadan.
Track News reports that Ajimobi, who governed the State for two consecutive terms of eight years, was born on 16 December 1949, and died in the year 2020.
The wife of the former governor while making her contribution during the event, declared that the 2023 elections will make or mar the country.
She said that the result and what happened after the elections would determine the future of the country.
Ajimobi said, “The primaries have been held and candidates have emerged.
“So, where do we go from here? What I just want to say is that 2023 is going to make or mar Nigeria.
“It is going to make or mar Nigeria. That is what I just want to say”.
Oba Akanbi in his contribution, said that traditional rulers should be allowed to nominate credible citizens for political positions.
The monarch, who said that each country has its own style of democracy, said that Nigeria can learn from what is happening in China and Saudi Arabia
