Authorities in Ghana have arrested Victor Benjamin Fajemirokun, the Nigerian man suspected of masterminding the killing of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer SRC Lasisi Funmilayo and her young daughter in early November.
According to the Ghana Police Service, Victor was traced and picked up in a friend’s apartment after officers were alerted by the circulation of a “viral video detailing his alleged atrocities.”
Victor, who had been declared missing by the police in Ogun State, fled to Ghana to avoid arrest by Nigerian authorities.
Ghanaian officials say he is now in custody and arrangements are being made to hand him over to Nigeria.
