Six Arrested Over Alleged Sale of Nasarawa Boy for ₦3m

Six suspects have been arrested by police operatives over the alleged sale of an 8-year-old boy, Jeremiah, from Ogobo village in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State for ₦3 million.

The arrests followed intelligence reports indicating that the missing child was being held by the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Abia State Police Command, Track News Online Nigeria reports.

The suspects arrested include:

Chilaka Calista Nneka, 33

Chigbu Cynthia, 36

Michael Ibeh Chioma, 52

Victoria Ositadinma, 53
(All from Abia State)

Other suspects arrested are:

Alhassan Bama, 35 of Ogobo Village, Nasarawa State

Jacob Jonah, 38 of Olegepe Village, Nasarawa State

Investigations are ongoing as the police continue to probe the alleged child sale.
