Nigerian media personality and actress Nancy Isime has reacted indirectly amid allegations that she played a role in the collapse of the marriage of a UK-based Nigerian woman. The actress did not directly address the claims but shared a personal message on social media as the controversy continued to gain attention online.

The allegations were made by a Nigerian woman living in the United Kingdom, identified as Ify Okafor. She accused Nancy Isime and former beauty queen Sylvia Nduka of allegedly being involved with her former husband, businessman Chinedu Nwobodo, the owner of Circa Lagos.

Ify Okafor, who is from Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State, made the claims in a lengthy post shared on her Facebook page. In the post, she detailed what she described as repeated acts of infidelity by her former husband during the course of their marriage.

According to her account, some of the alleged affairs took place while the couple were still legally and traditionally married. She stated that the relationships allegedly involving Nancy Isime and Sylvia Nduka caused significant emotional distress and instability in her home.

Okafor said the alleged affairs brought pain, shame, and prolonged unrest into her marriage. She claimed the situation contributed to the gradual breakdown of the relationship, leaving her emotionally and mentally exhausted.

In her narrative, she further alleged that her marriage was marked by repeated cheating, emotional pressure, and domestic violence. She said these experiences made her feel unsafe and increasingly trapped during the relationship.
The UK-based woman also claimed she suffered physical attacks, emotional abuse, threats, and controlling behaviour throughout the marriage. According to her, these factors combined to create an unstable environment that eventually led to the end of the union.

The allegations quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing widespread reactions from users. Many debated the claims, while others called for restraint and urged all parties involved to allow the truth to emerge.
Despite the growing attention, Nancy Isime has not issued any direct statement addressing the accusations. Instead, the actress appeared unbothered by the controversy as she returned to social media activity.

Amid the online reactions, Nancy shared photos of herself on vacation via her Instagram page. The post marked her return after a brief period of inactivity on the platform.
In a caption accompanying the post, the actress reflected on her relationship with social media. She suggested that although she appeared happy to be back online, her true feelings were more complicated.

Nancy wrote that she acts like she is happy to return to Instagram, but deep down she desires to step away from social media entirely. She referenced her colleague, actor Alex Ekubo, who has largely stayed off social platforms in recent times.

Her post read, “I act like I’m happy to be back but deep down I want to pull a @alexxekubo on social media.” The statement was widely interpreted as a subtle response to the ongoing allegations.

The actress’s decision not to directly address the claims has further fueled online discussions. Some social media users viewed her post as a sign of indifference, while others saw it as an attempt to avoid escalating the situation.
Sylvia Nduka, who was also mentioned in the allegations, has not publicly responded to the claims at the time of reporting. The businessman at the centre of the controversy, Chinedu Nwobodo, has likewise not issued any public statement.

The situation has continued to spark conversations about relationships, infidelity, and the impact of public allegations on personal lives. It has also highlighted the intense scrutiny faced by public figures when accused of private misconduct.
Observers have noted that allegations shared on social media often generate strong opinions before any formal clarification or response is made. This has led to calls for caution and responsible engagement online.

As of now, the allegations remain claims made by a private individual and have not been tested or confirmed through any legal or official process. No court action has been announced in connection with the matter.

Nancy Isime has maintained her silence on the substance of the accusations, choosing instead to focus on her personal reflections and public appearances. Her approach has kept public attention on her social media activity rather than a direct rebuttal.

The controversy continues to trend across Nigerian social media spaces, with discussions evolving as users react to new developments. It remains unclear whether any of the parties involved will issue formal statements addressing the allegations in the coming days.
