Dr. Wisdom R. Poyeri, Executive Assistant to the Governor on NYSC matters, has praised His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, for six years of purposeful governance marked by youth development and infrastructural improvements. In a statement from his office, Dr. Wisdom highlighted the remarkable transformation of the NYSC Orientation Camp, describing it as one of the best in the country due to strategic investments and enhanced facilities.
“The steady improvement of the NYSC Orientation Camp, coupled with the provision of numerous facilities, reflects His Excellency’s dedication to excellence and youth empowerment,” Hon. Wisdom said. He emphasized that the upgrades have significantly enhanced the morale, safety, and overall experience of Corps Members serving in Bayelsa State.
Dr. Wisdom noted that Governor Diri’s administration has prioritized projects that directly benefit young people and strengthen the state’s infrastructure. Improvements in accommodation, security, recreation, and administrative efficiency at the camp have ensured that Corps Members experience a safe and supportive environment during their service year.
