The Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State have held their inaugural meeting, unveiling constituency and ward coordinators tasked with mobilizing grassroots support for President Bola Tinubu. The event took place in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, and brought together political stakeholders and appointees from across the local government area.

Speaking at the meeting, the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Sagbama LGA, Hon. Chief Okubokakpo Ombu Esq., expressed appreciation to key leaders, including Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Pastor Peter Pereotubo Akpe, for their role in assembling what he described as a capable and committed team.

Ombu emphasized that the newly appointed coordinators were carefully selected based on their proven track records and dedication to service. He urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by taking their responsibilities seriously and delivering tangible results at their respective levels.

He made it clear that the central mandate of the group is to secure a second term in office for President Bola Tinubu. According to him, achieving this goal will require coordinated grassroots engagement and sustained awareness campaigns across units, wards, and constituencies within Sagbama LGA.

Ombu called on the coordinators to actively engage residents and enlighten them on the achievements of the Tinubu administration. He highlighted several initiatives, including federal appointments benefiting Bayelsa indigenes, counterpart funding for the Nembe/Brass Road project, and collaboration between the Bayelsa State Government and the Niger Delta Development Commission on the Sampou/Elemebiri Road project.

He also pointed to ongoing human capacity development programs as part of the administration’s efforts to improve livelihoods. Ombu assured the people that the economic policies introduced by President Tinubu, though challenging in the short term, would yield positive outcomes in the near future.

In his response, former Chairman of Sagbama Local Government Area, Hon. Akpoebi Biowei, who spoke on behalf of the coordinators, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the LGA for entrusting them with the responsibility. He pledged the team’s commitment to fulfilling their mandate and working collectively to achieve the set objectives.
