35th AU Assembly: Buhari Arrives In Addis Ababa
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday arrived in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, for the 35th Session of the Assembly of AU Heads of State and Government.
The Minister of Education in Ethiopia, Prof Berhanu Neha, received Buhari on Friday.
The development was disclosed in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
This is coming after the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday, depart Abuja on a day trip to Accra, the Ghanaian capital.
The vice president is expected to attend an Extraordinary Summit of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government in Accra.
www.tracknews.ng reports that the meeting is coming amid coups in African countries. In the past 18 months, four coups have taken place in West Africa.
