63rd Birthday: Gov Diri Congratulates Okowa on New Age

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, congratulated Delta State counterpart and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on his 63rd birthday.
Governor Diri described Senator Okowa as an astute administrator and politician with an outstanding record of performance in governance and politics at the state and national levels in a congratulatory message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Alabrah, on Friday.
Diri stated that Okowa’s exemplary performance in all of the public offices he has held is a testament to his peaceful disposition and ability to build bridges of unity and togetherness.
He also stated that his selection as running mate for the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is an acknowledgement of Okowa’s unimpeachable patriotism and loyalty to the country and his party.
Diri went on to describe Okowa as a trustworthy friend, brother, and colleague in their joint effort to make the Niger Delta region and Nigeria a better place.
He prayed for God’s continued blessings, grace, and wisdom as he advances in politics, saying Nigeria will benefit more from Okowa’s affable qualities and experience in governance.
