2023: Tinubu Sets To Meet Obasanjo Over Political Ambition

By: Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed,
As the campaign for the forthcoming 2023 general elections draws nearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate and national leader of the rulling All Progressives Congress, is expected to meet former President, Olusegun Obasanjo this Wednesday.
Track News Nigeria gathered that the former President Obasanjo would receive Tinubu in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
While Tinubu was a former Governor of Lagos State, Obasanjo was a military leader and two-time ruler of the country.
The meeting between Tinubu and Obasanjo is part of the move of the APC leader to actualise his presidential ambition in 2023.
Kunle Somorin, the Chief Press Secretary to the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, made this known in a statement obtained by Track News Nigeria on the early hours of Wednesday.
As said by Somorin, the APC presidential flag-bearer after meeting Obasanjo would address the people at the MKO Abiola International Stadium.
