Nigerians must avoid divisive tendencies in 2023, says Guru Maharaji

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Sat-Guru Maharaj-ji, the founder of One Love Family, asked Nigerians Monday to put aside their differences and abstain from actions that would fuel animosity amongst the country’s diverse ethnic groups.
At a press conference on the state of the country held in Sat Guru Maharaj-ji Village, Iju Ishaga, Ifako Local Government Area of Lagos State, Maharaj-ji made this statement.
In the impending exodus that is about to begin on the part of the leaders across the social-political, economic, cultural, and religious divide, he suggested that rather than causing conflict, “our divisive fault lines should serve as a galvanizing watershed in our resolute drive to build a strong virile, egalitarian role-model nation in readiness to receive and welcome the human race back home.”
To advance the nation, he added, “those seeking to lead in the new world order need to come for divine wisdom, if they are keen to succeed where those before them failed, else they should forget it.”
We have everything we need to become a great, affluent, and technologically advanced country, but we are still thought to be backward, he remarked.
“Despite having a wealth of valuable and abundant human resources, we lack the necessary staff because many eggheads were compelled to migrate because of socioeconomic and political conditions. Instead of using such specialists’ talents and knowledge, our culture frustrates them, making them a benefit and value to other countries.
Not only that, but 95% of the population lives well below the poverty level despite our nation having incalculable textile resources. People’s faces are etched with hunger because there are no jobs available and several employees are being laid off on a regular basis. To the disadvantage and misery of the common people, the majority of social facilities have been privatized and sold. We have no concept of the sanity, order, and human sanctity that defined many industrialized nations.
