Obasanjo Names Those Able To Change Nigeria’s Situation in 2023
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Olusegun Obasanjo, the former president of Nigeria, has urged the youth to elect new leaders if they want to change the course of events.
According to Track News Nigeria , Obasanjo announced this on Friday during the controversial veteran musician Charles Oputa, often known as Charly Boyrecent ,’s visit.
Speaking to the legendary musician and activist about the nation, Obasanjo claimed that the current state of the nation was not due to the actions of God, but rather the decision of the government, adding that only the young people would be able to change it.
He argued that poor leadership is the cause of many people’s poverty and frustration, especially among young people. He pledged to ensure that Nigeria receives the leadership it deserves and said he wouldn’t settle for anyone who wouldn’t carry out what they had promised to do.
Obasanjo responded, “That we are frustrated and poor is not the fault of God, it is the choice of our leaders, when asked for advice for “frustrated Nigerians. And if you need to alter that or our circumstance, you must alter the leadership. I often remark that Nigeria is not a person, but rather my own baby, the one I wish to decorate with a lovely bead.
“La mu la muni,” they say in the north. Tiwa n tiwa is pronounced “Nka bu ka nyi” in the south-east. Now, that is not the problem; Nigeria is the problem.
