2023: As Campaign Kicks, Peter Obi Visits Olu Of Warri

Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential flag-bearer has visited the Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III in Delta State.
The former Governor of Anambra State met the traditional ruler at his palace in the old town of Warri, Delta State.
TrackNews Nigeria says that Obi went for the courtesy visit to the Olu of Warri on the his first anniversary ceremony to the ascension of the throne.
TrackNews Nigeria gathered that activities marking the Olu of Warri’s anniversary celebration commence at Ode-Itsekiri, the ancestral home of the Itsekiri, with cultural display and homage paid by Itsekiri sons and daughters home and abroad.
According palace worker who spoke with TrackNews Nigeria under the plea of anonymity, the week-long program to be ended on Sunday with a thanksgiving service at the Palace Church in Warri.
