2023: Reno Omokri breaks his promise to refrain from attacking Peter Obi and turns around
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Former presidential adviser Reno Omokri criticized Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi for his insistence that, if elected, Nigeria would shift from a consumption-based to a production-based economy.
This has reportedly happened since Reno made a vow not to criticize the former governor of Anambra State a few weeks ago, according to TrackNews.
Reno stressed that he would not stop attacking Obi until the LP flagbearer called his supporters to order, but it appeared that he had forgotten what he had said when he attacked Obi on social media.
Omokri claims that Obi imports beer and alcoholic beverages while promoting the idea of making Nigeria a consumer country.
The socio-political compared Obi to Satan in his fight against sin, noting that he was Nigeria’s top consumer goods importer.
Peter, I promised you I’d leave you alone, unless your attack dogs—which I warned you about on the phone and whom our mutual acquaintance talked to you about when he contacted me—attack me, he wrote. They did it today. Either you demand their compliance or you suffer the consequences.
You may not have noticed that whenever you let loose your attack dog on me, I do the same to you. Attack me whenever you want between now and February 25, 2023. The election is being challenged by you. Not me. I also appreciate the free publicity.
“Peter Obi is the sole provider with the largest impact on consumption in Nigeria. He imports practically everything, including beer and alcoholic beverages.
“Yet, he fights for making Nigeria a producer rather than a consumer? It like Satan running an anti-sin campaign!
“Go into any significant supermarket in Nigeria. The majority of what you will see—at least 15%—was brought into Nigeria by @PeterObi. not made in a factory
“IMPORTED. I challenge Peter to take me to court if I’m lying. And this person is pushing for Nigeria to go from consumption to production?
