Tinubu’s ‘pastor’ lashes out at mob action against ‘fake cleric’ in 2023
By Adeleye Kunle
Ugokwe Prince, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and one of the pastors present at the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as the ruling party’s Vice-Presidential candidate for the 2023 election, has condemned the attack on a man accused of being a ‘fake bishop’ in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
According to Track News, the victim, a plumber, was accused of acting as a “fake bishop” at Shettima’s unveiling in Abuja a few weeks ago.
According to reports, the victim was ‘apprehended’ in a market in Abuja’s Dei Dei neighborhood by supporters of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
On Sunday, a displeased Ugokwe took to his well-known Facebook page to say that the aggressors’ actions were completely unnecessary.
