Ice Prince was detained on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

Rapper Iceprince Zamani was taken into custody early on Friday, September 2, 2022 for attacking a police officer.
On Friday morning, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos Police, tweeted about this.
According to Hundeyin, the former member of Chocolate City was pulled over by the police for driving without license plates, and after consenting to go to the station, he kidnapped the officer.
“@Iceprincezamani got pulled over at 3 in the morning tonight for driving without license plates. He consented to being brought to the station.
The police officer was afterwards kidnapped by him in his car, abused, and threatened with being thrown into the river.
He has been detained and will be arraigned today, according to Hundeyin.
