‘PDP, APC Crisis Blessing In Disguise For LP’ in 2023
By Adeleye Kunle
According to a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholder, the crisis rocking the party and the All Progressives Congress (APC) may be a blessing in disguise for the Labour Party’s (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In recent months, the PDP has attempted to reconcile Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
There are also calls for the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, to resign in order for peace to reign ahead of the 2023 election.
The ruling party, the APC, is battling with its controversial Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket.
There are also concerns about the party’s presidential campaign council’s composition.
According to a source who spoke with Tracknews , Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike may support Obi in 2023 without leaving the PDP.
According to the source, Governor Wike and his allies discussed the presidential candidate they would support last week in London.
According to the source, the Rivers State Governor may not meet with Tinubu as previously reported.
According to reports, Wike and his allies planned to meet with the APC presidential candidate in London.
The, on the other hand, was not held because they all returned to Nigeria on Monday after strategizing for the 2023 race.
“So, God may decide to cause confusion in the two major parties and help Peter Obi become the next President,” the source said. God may be orchestrating crises in the APC and PDP to benefit the Labour Party.”
