Independence Day: Presidential candidate, Chichi Ojei sends message to Nigerians
By Adeleye Kunle
Princess Chichi Ojei, the presidential candidate of the Allied People’s Movement, APM, has sent a goodwill message on the occasion of the 62nd independence celebration.
Nigeria marks her 62nd independence anniversary on Saturday, October 1, 2022, a few months to the 2023 general elections and Ojie said she is using the opportunity to extend her ‘message of hope’ to all citizens.
She said Nigerians must come together to build a strong nation and an economic super power with prosperity for all and preeminence in the comity of nations.
She encouraged Nigerians to keep hope alive and endeavour to exercise their civic right by coming out en masse to vote on election days and ensure that each and every vote counts.
She said that citizens must overcome fear, banish doubts, and overcome the political and economic conditions that degrade and dehumanize us.
“We are blessed with numerous endowments, especially the presence of massive natural resources. However, our greatest assets are our people. With a population of over 200 million people and being the largest black nation in the world Nigeria is without doubt a force to reckon with,” she said
