‘NRM will surprise voters at the polls.’

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Ambassador Felix Johnson Osakwe, presidential candidate of the Nigerian Rescue Movement (NRM), has stated that the party will surprise voters in next year’s election.
He spoke with reporters in Abuja on the 62nd anniversary of the country’s independence.
Despite the ruling All Progressives Congress’s poor leadership, Osakwe noted that the people have much to celebrate (APC).
He said Nigerians should be grateful for the gift of life and God’s goodness, adding that “the lethargic government by proxy” will end next year.
The administrator from Ezionum, Ukwani, Delta State, promised that after signing the Peace Accord with other presidential candidates, his party would ensure calm in the electoral process and persuade Nigerians to vote for him.
The candidate praised the Reverend Hassan Kukah-led National Peace Committee, emphasizing that the NRM would follow the terms of the agreement in order to win the elections next year.
He urged Nigerians to join the movement to the “promised land,” where hunger, starvation, despondency, insecurity, and corruption would be consigned to history…
According to Osakwe, the NRM promised “a new government by the people, for the people, with him as the driver to steer the ship of state to safety.”
He also told the Ndigbo group that hosted him in Abuja after signing the peace pact that the NRM would re-engineer and activate a new Nigeria in which hardworking citizens would be given equal opportunities to grow.
“Our government will be a government for all Nigerians, regardless of tribe… The NRM will not fund corruption. Building human capacity is a top priority for our party, as is creating a united and virile nation.
“NRM is forming a government to heal the wounds inflicted on the nation by previous governments’ wickedness and recklessness,” he said.
Osakwe hoped that as president and commander-in-chief of the armed forces, he would read the 63rd anniversary national broadcast.
