Foundation provides scholarships, educational materials to students.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Help for School Foundation, a non-governmental organization, gave out scholarships, school bags, and exercise books to community children in Amukoko, Ajegunle, Lagos, over the weekend.
‘Back to School Delight’ was the project’s name.
Bunmi Oreaje-Ogbori, Executive Director of the Help for School Foundation, commented on the project, saying, “It is one of the many ways the foundation has been making impacts in the community since its inception in 2019.”
“I am overjoyed with the success of today’s outreach and thrilled that “Back to School Delight” was able to impact 300 school children in two low-cost schools (Sadec Schools, Funmiland Nursery and Primary School) as well as three more visiting schools.”
“The foundation provided 150 children with scholarships, school bags, and exercise books.” We prioritized orphans and vulnerable children, and the remaining scholarships were awarded through a fair raffle process because the majority of the children came from similar economic backgrounds.”
