However, in the video seen by SaharaReporters, the residents and youths of Anioma Community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of the state blocked Elumelu’s convoy at Idumogo and stopped him from passing through the town road over a claim that he had refused to fix the road.

A man whose face could not be seen in the video was heard saying “This is Elumelu’s convoy now in Idumogo. The youths have to stop him. People should comment, let us know what to decide to do. Let’s decide on what to do to him.

“Look at our youths. We are vibrant. They are dealing with the PA (Personal Assistant) now. Our road has been delayed. This is Elumelu’s convoy so that you people will know that we are not joking. People should support us.”
