Tinubu’s manifesto will address Nigerians’ concerns says Keyamo.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Festus Keyamo believes that the manifesto of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, will address Nigerians’ concerns.
Keyamo, the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s spokesman, added that the manifesto would be released soon.
“Asiwaju’s manifesto is ready,” he said. However, due to a number of emerging issues around the world, our candidate must assemble a team of experts to review the document in order to meet emerging challenges. Expect a document that addresses specific issues and challenges that Nigerians face.”
Keyamo, who is also the Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, dismissed Tinubu’s alleged ill-health while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
He went on to say that the APC would launch its campaign in the coming days.
“Despite the fact that our candidate was present in 2019, we did not launch our campaign until about 50 to 60 days later.” Despite this, we were able to win the election,” he said.
He stated that Tinubu’s campaign would be based on the party’s accomplishments as well as his track record as governor of Lagos State.
“Given the challenges and limited resources at its disposal, the current administration has done well.”
“And, in light of what has happened around the world and the challenges that we have faced, we have not taken Nigeria to Eldorado, but we have exceeded expectations based on what we faced.”
According to the ruling party’s PCC spokesman, the women seen marching in Lagos, Abia, and other states were genuine APC supporters who believe in Tinubu’s character and competence.
