Comrade Sheriff Congratulate Sheriff Oborevwori On Supreme Court Victory As Delta State PDP Candidate

WARRI: A Delta-born renowned human and environmental rights advocate Comrade (Chief) Mulade Sheriff, has congratulated the Honourable Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, on his Supreme Court Victory as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The supreme court affirmed the nomination of Sheriff Oborevwori as the governorship candidate on Friday October 21,2022.The judgement was delivered by a five-member panel of the apex court, led by Amina Augie, who upheld the decision of the Abuja court of appeal.
We will recall that during the PDP primary in May, Oborevwori polled 590 votes to beat David Edevbie, who polled 113 votes.
In his congratulatory message to Oborevwori, Chief Mulade, said the supreme court verdict is a strength to the people and a hope for Deltans. He further encouraged him to be pragmatic in his approach to unity his party faithfuls irrespective of ethnic, language and senatorial zone differences.
The peace and development advocate, called on Deltans to give adequate and maximum support to a man with street leadership qualities and passion for development with community knowledge based to attract opportunities to our dear State as we approach 2023 general elections.
