We’re proud of you – PDP reacts as Buhari honours Wike

By Adeleye Kunle
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) congratulated Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on his conferment of the Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery at the Nigeria Excellence in Public Service Award.
PDP in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, Saturday commended the Rivers State Governor for executing the party’s program, projects and policies.
Ologunagba said Wike’s award is in recognition of his exceptional accomplishments on infrastructure in line with the manifesto of the PDP.
PDP publicity scribe also said the National Award on the outstanding PDP Governor is an admission by the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government of exceptional development strides that can only be conceptualized, driven and executed under the policy thrust and manifesto of the PDP.
The statement read in part “Governor Wike, as a committed member of the PDP has been executing legacy projects alongside other governors elected on the platform of our Party in line with the policies and programmes of the PDP arising from the deep thoughts and analysis of the needs of the people.
“PDP governors are outstanding in turning their States into “Oases of Development ” through the delivery of landmark people-oriented infrastructural projects. This informs why Nigerians across the board are rallying with the PDP knowing that with a PDP Federal Government by May 29, 2023, Nigeria will become an “Ocean of Development”.
“The PDP applauds Governor Wike and urges him to see the Award as a call to do more in the service of our dear fatherland and humanity
