EPL: He knows this – Guardiola names Man City player not playing at his best
By Adeleye Kunle
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has insisted that midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is nowhere near his best despite scoring a stunner in their Premier League 3-1 win over Brighton on Saturday.
De Bruyne scored his second Premier League goal of the season against Brighton after his long-range curling effort ensured Man City defeated the visitors at Etihad Stadium.
The Belgium international, who already has nine assists this season, finished third in the Ballon d’Or behind Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane in midweek.
Yet Guardiola believes there is more to come from De Bruyne, adding that the former Chelsea star knows he is not playing at his top level
