EPL: I have nothing to apologize for – Potter blows hot after 4-1 defeat to Brighton

By Adeleye Kunle
Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, has insisted he does not owe Brighton fans any apologies after he was booed on his return on Saturday.
Potter suffered his first defeat in charge of the Blues at the Amex, losing 4-1 to a side he left seven weeks ago.
Leandro Trossard opened the scoring before two own goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Chalobah.
Although Kai Havertz pulled one back, Pascal Gross restored Brighton’s three-goal lead.
“I have nothing to apologise or say sorry for. I think I did a good job at the club and left it in a good place but people are entitled to their opinions.
“It’s part of the process. You have to suffer and feel pain in order to grow and get better. Nobody said we were the finished article. We have to take the pain today and learn from it,” Potter said
