Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

Governorship candidates for the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Delta State, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, will be unable to overcome the political savvy and popularity of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sheriff Oborevwori, in the upcoming 2023 gubernatorial election in Delta State.

Olorogun Fred Oghenesivbe, leader of the Sheriffied Delta Media Group, SDMG, and Executive Assistant on Communications to PDP Vice Presidential candidate and Delta State Governor, offered the promise during a live political program on Crown FM Radio in Asaba.

He chastised the APC for relying solely on outdated and laughable media propaganda tactics against Okowa’s administration, which has been adjudged by President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to be one of the best and fastest growing economies in the country, adding that Buhari profiled governor Okowa as one of the best performing governors in Nigeria.

He claimed that the APC national government, led by Buhari, recognized Okowa’s good governance efforts and exemplary leadership qualities with the national award of the Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON, and that lies against Okowa and the state government would further damage the APC’s poor image and political status.

Oghenesivbe, the National Legal Adviser of the Atiku-Okowa Solidarity Movement in Nigeria, AOSM, correctly stated that the state government’s loans and credit facilities were prudently applied to capital projects; socioeconomic and infrastructure developments, wealth and job creation, housing scheme, Universal Basic Education, UBEC, counterpart funding, and other key projects that facilitated the state economy’s rapid growth and development.

“Let Ovie Omo-Agege and Olorogun Gbagi know that there is one man who will retire them from active politics in 2023, and that man is Sheriff Oborevwori, the Ukodo of Okpe Kingdom and the local content Governorship candidate of the PDP in Delta State, and by extension the governor in waiting,” he said.
