Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

The Rivers State Government has condemned Ned Nwoko, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, for calling for Governor Nyesom Wike’s expulsion from the party.
According to Track News, Nwoko, the Delta North Senatorial candidate, has called for the expulsion of Rivers State Governor over the party’s crisis.

Nwoko told reporters on Monday in Asaba, Delta state’s capital, that Wike is a nuisance who has caused a lot of damage to the party and should be kicked out.

In response to Nwoko’s remarks, Chris Finebone, the state Commissioner for Information and Communication, said the Delta politician is a minor bystander.

Finebone added that Nwoko’s puerile remarks are not unusual, and that he knows nothing about the inner workings of the party at the highest level.

“Such puerile comments by Ned Nwoko are not unusual,” he said. I suspect a major disorder with several strange behaviors. It’s one of life’s most dreadful ailments.”

In addition, a top Wike aide who requested anonymity told Vanguard that Nwoko is not a factor in PDP politics.

“Ned Nwoko?” he asked. In PDP, the name is unfamiliar.

“He’s just a bystander with no knowledge of the PDP’s inner workings at the highest levels.” It’s not enough to say you’re a big guy.

“I’m sure no one will take him seriously, but we dare anyone who believes otherwise to grant his wish.”

“People must stop viewing the G-5 leading the call for equity and fairness in the PDP as a selfish joke perpetrated by key agitators.”

“Nwoko is unimportant in PDP politics.” But the governor is well aware that he (Nwoko) is being used to disparage him.

“However, as the locals say, ‘he no reach.’” Wike or the Rivers PDP will not glorify a minor order.”
