Kaduna government debunks attack on Kaduna-Abuja road

The Kaduna State Government on Thursday debunked reports of attack and kidnapping on the Kaduna-Abuja road.
Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, in a statement described the report as false, adding that there was no attack on the Kaduna-Abuja road.
“The attention of the Kaduna State Government has been drawn to a widely circulated message raising alarm on an alleged blockade of the Kaduna-Abuja road by bandits.” He said
Mr. Aruwan while debunking the report also, advised citizens to completely disregard the mischievous circulation.
He said the state government is always in touch with the security operatives, adding that it always monitoring the security situation on the Kaduna-Abuja Road and other locations under watch.
Aruwan noted that although there are security challenges in the state, it was unfortunate how some individuals and groups continue to undermine the sacrifices of security agencies and the government
