Ronaldo ready to take big pay cut to return to Real Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to take a big pay cut to return to Real Madrid.
Diario AS reports that the 37-year-old is keen to play for the LaLiga giants again.
Ronaldo was on the books of Real from 2009 to 2018 and became their record goalscorer with 451 goals in 438 appearances.
The Portugal captain is now a free agent after Manchester United terminated his £500,000-a-week contract this week.
With Ronaldo eager to play in the Champions League, he is now eyeing a return to Madrid and would be willing to take a big pay cut if Los Blancos accepted to take him on a six-month deal.
However, Real Madrid is not considering re-signing the five-time Ballon d’Or and his return is seen as “impossible”
