Chelsea legend Didier Drogba l named Mbappe World Cup’s best striker

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has named PSG star Kylian Mbappe the World Cup’s best striker.

“A complete striker, in my opinion, is someone who can create an assist as well as score – someone who can change the game with a single action,” Drogba wrote for BBC Sport.

“I’ll explain how I became that type of player, but I doubt there are many of them at this World Cup.”

“Some teams prefer to play without a striker at all, but I always believe that in big moments, you need someone to both start and finish actions.”

“England has Harry Kane, who I enjoy watching, but Kylian Mbappe of France stands out as the player who excels at doing everything I’ve mentioned.”

“If you put Mbappe in a center-forward position, he will score goals but also come back and try to create chances for other people, as France’s first two games in Qatar demonstrated.”
