Dele Alake, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has accused Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi of misrepresenting statistics.
According to Track News, the former Lagos State Commissioner of Information made the accusation during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today program.

Alake stated that the former Governor of Anambra State is known for providing inaccurate and fabricated figures, emphasizing that the LP flagbearer cannot be trusted.

“In fact, Obi is well-known for fabricating statistics, as anyone knows.” So there’s really nothing to clarify there. Asiwaju, like everyone else, is a human being.”

Obi also denied rumors that he is at odds with his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Atiku Abubakar.

Obi commented on frugality, saying, “People say we don’t give people shishi.” It is not correct. But I want to put your money to good use. I want to use it to educate and provide opportunities for your children.

“I’m not looking to steal your money.” That’s not what I’m doing because it’s incorrect. I’d rather be a part of you and your children.
