Troops neutralize bandits in Giwa LGA – Kaduna Government
The Kaduna State Government, on Tuesday, confirmed that troops of the Nigerian Army have neutralized several bandits during clearance operations in bandit enclaves around Idasu, Fatika and Makera forests in Giwa LGA.
Samuel Aruwan Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.
According to him, the operational feedback to the Kaduna State Government indicated that many bandits have been neutralized.
He said others still fled with gunshot injuries to the Hayin Siddi area around the interstate boundaries.
He said the Kaduna State Government noted the report with satisfaction and has commended the troops heartily for the success, and urged them to intensify more efforts in order to arrest those with bullet wounds
