JUST IN: Fire broken out at an Abuja Conoil filling station

A fire has broken out at the Conoil filling station in Abuja’s Area 10.
The incident began around 3:53 p.m. on Saturday, according to our reporter who was on the scene.
According to an eyewitness, Ette Samson, a graphic designer at the UTC Area 10 market, residents should avoid that axis.
“The fire started from the filling station storage, and the entire facility was burned down,” he says. In fact, we are currently stranded because the area has been sealed off.”
Federal Fire Service personnel were seen attempting to extinguish the fire.
The station is adjacent to the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, and is a short distance from the Cyprian Ekwensi Center for Arts and Culture.
There is heavy traffic in Area 10 and its surroundings as a result of the incident.
The filling station was still on fire as of the time this report was written.
