Tensions rise as young girl body discovered in Plateau

The body of a young girl named Ruth was discovered on Sunday in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
The young girl’s body was discovered at a ‘car wash’ after a filling station near Farin Bridge I in the Jos Local Government Area.
The deceased was allegedly raped and stabbed to death, according to a source.
According to the source, she and her assailants got into a fight before she was killed.
He explained that the girl’s body was dumped in an unknown location after she was murdered.
He also stated that security agents were stationed in the area to prevent an ethno-religious crisis from erupting among the youths as a result of the incident.
